Swansea Council is looking for building contractors to carry out maintenance and repair work on council houses across the city. The work is split into two lots: external repairs (roofs, walls, ramps, railings) and internal repairs (kitchens, bathrooms, carpentry, plumbing, electrics, decoration, cleaning).

What the buyer wants

• Lot 1: External building works including groundworks, bricklaying, concrete work, and steel railings on domestic properties • Lot 2: Internal building maintenance covering carpentry, plastering, decoration, flooring, plumbing, electrical, roofing, windows and doors, brickwork, and cleaning of properties and communal areas • Work will be primarily on empty (void) properties (around 90%) with some work on occupied homes (10%)
