In plain English

Worcestershire County Council is setting up a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to find training and support providers for their skills and employment programmes. They're looking for external providers across five different areas: employability training, numeracy education, digital tool development, business consultancy, and health & wellbeing support.

What the buyer wants

• Provide training and skills development in one or more of the five categories (Employability, Education, Digital, Consultancy, or Health & Wellbeing) • Work flexibly on various grant-funded projects of different sizes and durations • Support people into employment, improve local skills, and help businesses develop their workforce • Complete a Standard Questionnaire and submit relevant supporting documents through the portal

Likely requirements

Our reading of the notice. Always check the tender documents.

This is a framework agreement (DPS), not a single contract. You can apply to be on the panel but won't automatically win work; you'll need to bid when specific projects are commissioned. If you're a pure tradesperson (electrician, plumber, builder) with no training delivery or consultancy experience, this won't be suitable.

How to bid

This is a Dynamic Purchasing System: an open list of approved suppliers. You can apply to join at any time while it runs, and once accepted you can bid for the individual contracts the buyer runs through it.
