In plain English
WM5G Ltd is buying a digital workflow platform to manage hospital discharge processes across NHS organisations. The system will coordinate referrals, patient tracking, consent, tasks and communications in one place, replacing multiple fragmented systems currently in use.
What the buyer wants
• Provide a configurable software platform that manages the complete discharge workflow from patient identification through to completion • Implement the solution with integration to existing NHS systems using HL7 FHIR standards and API-first architecture • Host the platform in UK cloud infrastructure and provide implementation, training, support and ongoing maintenance throughout the contract term
Requirements
Named in the buyer's notice:
- Cyber Essentials
- Cyber Essentials Plus
What could rule a small business out: This contract is only realistic for large software vendors with existing enterprise workflow platforms, NHS integration experience, cloud hosting infrastructure and £450k+ delivery capability. Most small building or trade businesses cannot bid. Even small IT firms will struggle unless they have proven NHS experience, cloud infrastructure and the ability to deliver complex integrations.
