In plain English

The Department for Education is recruiting training providers to deliver Skills Bootcamps, short, intensive training courses that teach job-ready skills. This is a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), meaning the government will call off training delivery orders from approved suppliers over the next 6 years, with a total budget of around £1.5 billion available.

What the buyer wants

• Design and deliver short, focused training programmes in priority skill areas (exact subjects to be specified in individual call-offs) • Register on the DfE's Jaggaer procurement portal and complete the application process • Meet quality and delivery standards set out in the DPS terms (see project_7693 or SSQ_322 for full details)

Likely requirements

Our reading of the notice. Always check the tender documents.

This is for training providers only. If you are a tradesperson (builder, electrician, plumber, etc.) rather than a training company or education organisation, you will not be eligible, the DPS is designed for education and skills delivery businesses, not for trades-people delivering training courses as a side activity.

How to bid

This is a Dynamic Purchasing System: an open list of approved suppliers. You can apply to join at any time while it runs, and once accepted you can bid for the individual contracts the buyer runs through it.
