What the buyer wants

• Assess and manage personal bankruptcy cases, including financial investigations, court paperwork, and attendance at hearings • Handle corporate winding-up petitions against limited companies, issue statutory demands, and prepare court documents • Advise on and manage insolvency cases involving deceased debtors and their estates • Provide specialist advice to the Council on whether insolvency action is suitable and proportionate in individual cases • Maintain detailed case records, manage correspondence, and track progress against agreed milestones

Requirements

What could rule a small business out: This contract is only open to qualified and licensed Insolvency Practitioners. If you are not a registered IP with the Financial Conduct Authority or equivalent body, you cannot bid. Most small businesses without specialist insolvency credentials will be excluded.
