DAI Global UK, working on a UK-funded programme in Pakistan, is setting up a framework of engineering consultancy firms to advise government institutions on designing, planning and maintaining infrastructure that can withstand floods, heat, drought, landslides and earthquakes. Work will be commissioned as individual task requests over 2026 to 2029, with no guaranteed volume of work.

What the buyer wants

• Submit one email to brave-is@dai.com with the subject line "BRAVE-IS-003 - Proposal - [Firm name]", attaching a technical submission (maximum 10 pages, CVs as an annex) and a separate financial proposal giving daily fee rates for five personnel levels only. • Show that your firm is legally registered in Pakistan and holds valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration as a consulting engineering firm, or form a consortium of up to four members with one lead member who meets this. • Demonstrate expertise across climate-resilient engineering, hydrology and flood risk, water resources, infrastructure appraisal, geospatial and engineering software, and institutional capacity building, with staff able to work in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Gilgit.

Without a legally registered Pakistani presence and valid PEC consulting engineering registration, a firm cannot bid at all, and a UK-only company or late submission after 17:00 PKT on 9 November 2026 would also be ruled out.
