East Sussex County Council is looking for a taxi or MPV (minibus with up to 8 seats) to provide school transport for children with special needs. The service runs school hours (10:00–15:00) on set days to two locations: Olivers Hill Farm and Anderida Learning Centre in Eastbourne.

• Provide a saloon taxi or 1–8 seat MPV for scheduled school transport • Operate Monday, Wednesday, Friday from TN38 0FS to TN33 9PE, and Tuesday, Thursday from TN38 0FS to BN22 8HR • Run during school hours (10:00–15:00) on all scheduled days • Support pupils with Special, Local Communication Needs (SLCN)
Requirements
What could rule a small business out: This is a specialist SEN school transport contract. You must have Enhanced DBS clearance for children, appropriate vehicle insurance, and proven experience with vulnerable young people; most general taxi operators without a child safeguarding record will not meet requirements.
