The government is setting up a 60-month approved supplier list (called a DPS) for scaffolding work. Any organisation that needs scaffolding services, including NHS trusts, councils, housing providers and charities across the UK, can call on suppliers on this list. This notice extends the existing scheme to 31 May 2029.

This is a framework agreement, not a single contract. Most small scaffolding firms lack the insurance cover, workforce scale, and accreditations needed to supply to NHS and public sector clients simultaneously across the entire UK.
