In plain English
The London Violence Reduction Unit wants a single provider to run a pan-London support service for young people aged 11 to 25 who have been hurt by violence or exploitation and face the highest levels of risk. The service replaces the current VESS contract, which ends in June 2027, and is meant to help young people recover, stay safe and reduce the chance of further harm.
What the buyer wants
• Deliver tailored, one-to-one support for young people with complex needs such as trauma, mental health problems, housing instability, safeguarding concerns and disrupted education or employment. • Work in a multidisciplinary way, linking young people to specialist services in mental health, housing, education, employment and safeguarding, and keeping them connected to trusted practitioners. • Provide the service across all of London, with safeguarding, case management and reporting arrangements that meet the VRU's standards.
Likely requirements
Our reading of the notice. Always check the tender documents.
A small business would most likely be ruled out by the scale of a pan-London contract, the need to show a proven track record of delivering high-risk youth support across the whole capital, and the requirement for a full safeguarding and multidisciplinary delivery model.
How to bid
This is an open tender: any eligible business can respond directly to the buyer by the deadline, with no framework membership needed.
