In plain English
South East Consortium is setting up a 4-year framework agreement (called a DPS) for construction and development work across the UK. If you're selected, you'll be on their approved supplier list and can bid for individual construction projects that members of the consortium call off the framework.
What the buyer wants
• Register your company on the In-tend portal and complete a Selection Questionnaire • State which of the 5 construction categories you can deliver (from site preparation/demolition up to projects over £50 million) • Confirm which UK regions you're willing and able to work in • Submit your bid online before the deadline with no technical errors or you'll be disqualified
Likely requirements
Our reading of the notice. Always check the tender documents.
Most small builders will struggle if they only work locally or regionally. You must commit to specific regions upfront. If your turnover or track record is weak, you may fail the financial viability checks. The online submission system is strict; any technical failure or missed deadline = automatic rejection with no second chance.
How to bid
This is a Dynamic Purchasing System: an open list of approved suppliers. You can apply to join at any time while it runs, and once accepted you can bid for the individual contracts the buyer runs through it.
