The Crown Commercial Service is setting up a national framework to help public sector organisations (councils, government departments, education bodies) buy adult education and skills training. Providers on this framework will deliver courses and training for adults aged 16+ to help them get jobs, progress in work, or prepare for apprenticeships.

This is a DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System) framework for large-scale education and training delivery. Most micro and small trades businesses (electricians, plumbers, builders, cleaners) will be disqualified unless they deliver formal adult education or skills training as their primary business; one-off training courses or apprenticeship sponsorship alone will not qualify.
